Office 2007

I have a customer who uses Office 2007 Excell and word for the most part. He
opened Excell yesterday and the colors in his spred sheet is gone and the
task bar on top is all grayed out and the style is different. I know from
using Office my self that the task bar background on top is white with
colors. What could have caused the problem and how can I fix it. I
uninstalled Office and rebooted the system. I them did a full install of
Office but still have the same problems.

Its over my head - sounds like a system issue - a corrupt dll file or similar?
Have you tried restoring to a restore point when it was working perfectly?
Folks in here who know more than I will need a little more infor from you.
What O/S are you on (eg XP, Vista or Win 7)?

I seem to recall XP has a diagnostic tool whereby it can check its own files
and restor damaged ones, but someone in here will know more than I on that
score. Otherwise, you may need to back up all the data and reinstall XP, Win
7 or whatever the O/S is.
