I Have Office 2003 trying to download Office 2007 getting error message:
Setup cannot find Word.en-us\WordLR.cab. Please advise how to resolve this?

I have Office 2007 on a CD (yes a legid disk) It accepts my product key, I
click upgrade but a quarter of the way it stops and stated Setup cannot find
Word.en-us\WordLR.Cab. Can you provide any solutions?

I would suggest you select custom install and then install one application
at a time from office 2007 installation. The usually appears if there is a
memory Error in the RAM installed on the memory.

wazzup dude, I hope you figured out the problem. If you didn't, this will
work perfect.

Get microsoft office 2003 or 2007 software, explore to the (havent tried
the others) word.en-us folder and copy the wordLR file 14MBs to your
word.en-us folder in the 2007 software package. You may have to copy your
installation software to you comp to do that. Try reinstalling.

Please follow the instruction below I had a same problem when I follow these

" Hello, i just found a solution. What i did was when it prompt the ''Setup
cannot find Word.en-us\WordLR.cab' , eject out the disc , make sure you are
in a workgroup , share one of your workgroup computer cd/dvd drive and insert
the disc to this drive and try browse the file from there. It work for me.

I had the same exact problem. It turned out to be a tiny dust speck on the
installation CD. I ejected the disk cleaned it and VOILA it worked fine.
