Office 2008 and Arabic Support

One of the biggest problems arabic mac users have is the lack for
support for arabic language (as well as any other right-to-left
languages) in the mac version of office while it's work perfectly on
the windows version !! our only choice is to look for alternatives
such as NeoOffice. Is there any plans to resolve this issue in the new
version of office 2008 ?

You're welcome to search this forum & the Mac Word forum for exhaustive (and
*speculative*) discussion of this topic which is far too lengthy to repeat
in yet another thread. If you're just interested in the banter about why it
should as opposed to why it may not, have at it You will not, however,
find any definitive answer from any sort of reliable source.

The bottom line is that nobody knows what 2008 will offer in *any* respect
(other than the scant info released so far by MS - and RTL support isn't
among those topics) except those who are developing it. They aren't at
liberty to say for fear of losing their jobs, being fined, going to jail,
committing the professional equivalent of suicide, or all the above.
