Hi,

I went out and bought the student/home edition of Office 2008 before realising that I'd need it for work (along with exchange connectivity).. will I be able to just buy the upgrade to the full version?

Any advice greatly appreciated!

Thanks, M

No, but you might be able to get a refund from Microsoft. I wouldn't bet on
this being a quick process.

Microsoft will honor returns through the retailer where you purchased the
product or by contacting Microsoft directly:

If you have the previous version (Office 2004), then yes, you can buy the
Upgrade version.

If you do not have a version earlier than Office 2008, then no, you need to
buy the Full version.

Hope this helps

If the software is unopened, you'd be best off returning it to the store and
then buying the Standard or Special Media Edition.

I don't think Office 2008 Home & Student Edition qualifies you for upgrade
pricing, although if you have an older version of Office for Mac, that
might.
