Office 2008 Online Registration Problems

Has anyone had problems completing the online registration for Office
2008? Each time I have tried the Product ID has not been recognised
although I think I have transferred the code from the about screen
correctly.

I have checked and double-checked that I am entering the digits correctly but still the registration process claims that the number is unacceptable. I hope someone has a fix for this.

Never mind the online registration; all it allows you to do is sign up for
the Mactopia newsletter. Unlike its Windows counterpart, Mac Office does not
require any kind of activation.

Hi Danny:

Ring your local Microsoft Office. Some of the keys are bad...

Note: "I am having the same problem" is not a useful headline, since we do
not see the items in the same sequence you do. I have taken a wild guess as
to what you're talking about

fix to the mechanism.

I had no trouble with it the other day.

I had trouble entering part of the sequence of the Serial number until I
realize what looked like an 8 was actually a B instead. (way the label
was printed.)

The registration problem has been fixed, however if anyone is still having any issues registering we'd appreciate hearing about it.
