Can anyone tell me either how I can find user manuals for Office 2008 programs or how to hear the tutorials on Mactopia?

There are no user manuals (hardly any software manufacturer provides
them any more for anything but very simple apps - they get outdated too
quickly). I suspect that third-party books will appear before too long.

In general, the Help system is supposed to provide you with the help you
need, though of course, how well it does that depends on the user's
needs.

MacTopia seems to be in chaos right now - I'd wait a few days and see if
their vendor can get their craniorectal inversion fixed.

Ever the cockeyed optimist, eh John;-) If that snarled up rat's nest is
usable within a few *weeks* I'll be the first to apologize for the
observations I've made about it here & elsewhere. IMHO -If they were capable
of *correcting* it that quickly they never would have launched such a
shipwreck in the first place.

Settle, you two. The only thing wrong is that it's calling the wrong style
sheet :)

That's why I was optimistic - it worked better when I made a few edits
on it...<g>

That said, the site was severely fubar'd in at least *some* areas when
it popped up Thursday or Friday - circular chains of links...
