Office 2010 viewers and Terminal Services 2008 R2

I would like to install Office 2010 viewer on a 2008 R2 Terminal Server that is running Office 2003 so we can read documents created in versions of Office later than 2003 e.g. 2007 and 2010. What are the steps to doing this on a Terminal Server? Any special registry entries? Steps to make the file associations work transparently?

Further to this. I got this to work but only by setting the converters to run using compatibility mode using windows server 2008 SP1 instead of Server 2008 R2. Anybody got it running with 2008 R2? If so any idea why it would not work on my system?
