Office 2010 vs 2007?

Hi All,

I have Office 2007 - what would be the advantage of upgrading to 2010?

I use Office for a lot of Word Processing (publications, extended memo
distributions, graphic presentations and booklet generation, etc),
Excel for a lot of finance tracking of various tournaments, etc),
Powerpoint for presentations both online and screen displays.

Just wondering if it is worth it to upgrade.??

Only you can answer that question. If you can use the new features of
Office 2010 then it is worth the upgrade. If you don't even use the
features that Office 97 had then no, it isn't worth the upgrade.
I am planning on making heavy use of the PPT to video feature of 2010 PPT
but otherwise I am just as happy with Word 2003 & Excel 2003 for the things
I do. I even still revert to Word '97 for simple mail merges as I feel it
is easier to set up there.

The other advantage of Office is that it is available in 64 bit version but
Microsoft only recommends that version if the user has extremely large Excel
files (over 2 MB in size.)

Also, can 2010 files be read by 2007 okay?

Yes
