Office 203 SP1 Install Failed "Expected version of product not fou

I have done a reinstall of Office 2003 using "reinstall or repair" option. It
seemed to be successful as it completed with no errors.

I am reluctant to completely remove and reinstall the program as I have just
spent 2 hours with Microsopft "Help" getting a new Key as the old key was not
accepted after I changed the motherboard in my computer (1 product - 1
computer - new motherboard)

Any one have a solution? I am running Windows XP, ver 5.1, build 2600, SP2.
