Office 2K 25 digit key

Simon

Hi!
I am trying to sort our licensing out & want to find the
original 25 digit CD installation key that office 2k was
installed with on the pc's, from the pc itself. Is there
any way of doing it? I have scanned registry by trying to
find a portion of the key, that I know was installed on a
certain pc, but it obviously isn't held in the registry.

Any ideas?

Thanks, Simon.

Uhh.. tried that, but cannot see Office key code
anywhere. Do you know where in AIDA it is?

Download a program called AIDA32 from here:
http://www.aida32.hu/aida32.php
It's like the system information tool on steriods, it
will tell you everything you want to know about your PC,
including the Office Key Code.

In the left pane, expand Software > then click on Licenses. It should show the key codes for any software that required it for installation. HTH

Thanks for that, but unfortunately, I found this in the
AIDA faq's.

"Which versions of MS Office and MS Windows can AIDA32
detect product key of?

MS Office XP, 2003.
MS Windows 98, Me, 2000, XP, 2003, Longhorn."

So I am now getting the feeling it is just not possible.
Ah well... Not for the want of trying, eh!!??

Thanks for your help.

Sorry for the wild goose chase, the faq file has been added since I downloaded the program some time ago.
