The situation is this (I have now seen it a number of times).
PC's with win xp pro will install office pro fine from network admin point.
However the similar pc's after having win xp sp1a applied (network install)
always invoke some file protection during office install. The only solution
I have found is to roll back to pre sp1, install office, then reinsatll sp1.
This, of course, is a bit boring.
Any ideas, the registry keys point to the correct insalation paths for i386
and sp1, and the network install path for office 2k is valid.
