I've seen a similar question to this elsewhere in the
newsgroups, but no response. I've moved a 2k server to
2003, but need to continue using Office 2000.
Previously this was deployed via Group Policy (ran
setup /d data1.msi). However, when I do this with 2003,
the clients are unable to run the software, due to
permissions problems I think. All other deployed s/w is
fine though.
Office gives errors such informing the user that they have
insufficient rights to install the software. I think 2003
is the problem, not office, but don't know where to look.
My users are just "domain users", but I can't find any
other group with more rights, other than Administrators...
Any ideas??
