Office 2K SP3 suggested over and over again

On one of my systems I'm running Office 2K with all available patches
applied. I've later added Visio 2002 and all available patches. Only
recently, I've added Outlook 2003 and now something obviously went
out of sync so to speak:

OfficeUpdate wanted me to install Office 2K SP3. That was already
a surprise since SP3 has been applied a long time ago. I've let it
install the patch nevertheless and it seemed to install but the same
patch is still suggested upon every start of OfficeUpdate.

I suspect this loop to have been caused by the installation of Outlook
2003. I don't observe the loop on another system where I have a pure
Office 2K installation.

Any suggestions how to get rid of this loop?

After installing the Outlook 2003 Junk-E-Mail-Filterupdate: KB832333,
the issue vanished! OfficeUpdate nows confirms that all available
updates and fixes have been applied.

I've run OfficeUpdate today and the Office 2K SP3 Update is suggested
again. During the last 2 days, I've also observed the same problems
with OfficeUpdate as many other users (progress bar rarely went
further than to 40%). Looks as if Microsoft currently has some nasty
problems with OfficeUpdate.
