I have installed Office 2007 Enterprise Edition with the option to keep the
previous version of Office with the exception of course being Outlook. I
changed the installation folder to a different directory as to not overwrite
the installation directory of 2K3. OS is XP sp2.
Whenever I click on a word, excel or powerpoint file by default it opens the
2K7 version of the app. I tried to change it so that it opens 2K3 by default.
Now, whenever I click on a word, excel or powerpoint file the 2K3 verison of
the app opens but not without a bunch of errors.
They read "Windows cannot find C:\*.xls, make sure you typed the name
correctly" I get this with word and powerpoint too.
Any ideas?
