Office 2K3 Problems

I am running Office 2K3 pro. I have Outlook set up with an exchange server,
and Word 2003 as my e-mail editor. When I send an attachment in outlook from
a floppy disk, Outlook tries to seek the floppy EVERY time I create a new
e-mail message and wont let go of the floppy unless I have a disk in the
drive. If I turn off Word as my e-mail editor, the problem goes away. Is this
a feature or a flaw????

I don't know the exact answer to your question, but I can tell you the
Word email editor feature in Outlook is horrible. That's the first
feature I change in Outlook 2k3 everytime I install it. Causes too
many headaches.

As far as fixes, perhaps you can try deleting your normal.dot file.
That's the template file for Word, and maybe for some strange reason
it's looking for a file on the A: drive.\

c: / Documents and settings / <Username> / Application Data / Microsoft
/ Templates

is usually where the normal.dot file is.
