Office 3000 upgrade question

I need Office Pro 3000. My Compaq Presario came with
Works 7.0. The box for Office Prof. 3000 says if you are
a licensed user of Works 7.0 you can purchase the upgrade
rather than the $500 full blown version. Would Works
that was on my computer when I bought it be "licensed"?
Don't want to buy the upgrade and find out it can't be
installed.

If you have bought a new Computer. The Works Version is licensed!
But Office PRO 3 0 0 0?
The license is a "sticker" on the box!

If using an upgrade ensure you have origonal disks (ie Works cd)
You will need it, if you ever have probs.
