I am using Office 2003--not 2007. I recently downloaded a trial version of
Visio 2007 (which supposedly is compatible with 2003). After that, I noticed
receiving several Microsoft updates for Office 2007, which I ignored thinking
that they wouldn't apply. Now apparently something must have been installed
that is now wreaking havoc to my Outlook folders. Now, I can open and read
the folders, but incoming emails are not automatically going to the folders
(as they had been doing for several years now). When I tried to drag and drop
the emails into the right folders, I get a message saying I don't have
permissions to create an entry for the folder and telling me to see the
folder owner or the administrator. The entire ist of rules all has a red
"error" message, and I am unable to write any new rules to circumvent this.
Folder ownership is NOT a feature of Outlook 2003--what hpapened and most
important, how can I fix it? Thanks!
