OFFICE 95 AND MOUSE

[OFFICE AND SCROLL MOUSE PROBLEMS]

I JUST SWITCHED FROM A DELL OPTIPLEX COMPUTER TO A HP PAVILION A600N AND NOW
I LOADED MY MS OFFICE 95 AND THE SCROLL MOUSE FEATURE WILL NOT WORK IN
EXCELL....IT WORKS ON ALL OTHER PARTS OF THE MS OFFICE BUT IN EXCELL

I HAVE LOADED NEW MOUSE SOFTWARE, BOT A NEW MOUSE AND SOFTWARE, RELOADED
OFFICE 95 3 TIMES ETC

I HAVE 2 OTHER COMPUTERS AND ALL IS COMPATIBLE...NOT WITH THE HP

THE TWO OTHER PLATFORMS ARE WINDOWS 98 AND 95....THE NEW MACHINE IS
XP...COULD IT BE THE XP...AND IF SO HOW DO I OVERCOME IT???

THIS DOESNT MAKE SENSE...ALL I WANT TO DO IS USE THE WHEEL TO SCROLL.

Did you intall the software associated with your mouse to control the
"scroll mouse" feature?

Your software is years older than the XP. Office 95 was developed c.
1993/84 whereas XP is c. 1992/93. Maybe your mouse software is that old
too.

Maybe easist thing to do is guy a new, modern, mouse. Get one of those
wireless models, perhaps.

then hopped in a time machine? ;o) Office didn't exist in '84!

Hmmm....really?! You've had Windows XP for a decade longer than the rest of
the planet?! Windows XP was released 25th October 2001 - in other words
nearly three years ago, and it won't be superceded for at least another
couple.
