Yes.
Select custom during the install of the second office
program and specify an alternate installation folder
other than the default. It will not replace your
existing office, but install the new office in that
folder.
However, Office 2000 has an annoying habbit of displaying
a screen stating it is setting up office 2000 when you
use word or excel, having previously used word or excel
97.
You can cancel this, it states the software may run
incorrectly, but it has worked fine for me. If you do
not cancel it, then you have to wait about 20 seconds for
it to complete.
Once it has perfomed this, subsequent use of office 2000
is fine - no message. Once you use office 97 and then go
into office 2000 you will get the message again.
