I have Office 97 Pro and now am operating under XP. Anyone using Off97 on XP with
success? I probably will fire it up eventually, but am wondering about its
suitability under XP.

This should work fine, although Office97 is getting pretty creaky.

That's good to hear. Yes, creaky but it works. Also it costs about $500 to upgrade or
$190 for an academic version, which I'm eligible for.

For what it's worth, it looks like the upgrade is about $269 from Amazon
right now. (But yes, I too keep some old software around. :)
