Office 97 apps open exteremly slow since upgrading to Win2K

Ok. I know these are all old products, but recently we
upgraded (in-place) all our PC's from WinNT 4.0 to Win2K.
We had Office97 SR2 installed on the PC. It seems like
some people, some times when they first log on to the
computer have trouble running any of the Office97
products. Either logging off or rebooting typically
resolves the problem. The PC's reboot every night so
essentially they are logging on "fresh"

This seems to happen randomly. OfficeXP does not exhibit
this problem.

Any suggestions.

Hi Brett,

Can you expand on what you mean by "trouble running any of the Office
97 products"? Do the apps run? Do you encounter error messages? More
details please.
