Office 97 compatibility with Windows XP

I am contemplating upgrading to Windows XP and need to
determine if my Office 97 is compatible ~ or if I will need
to purchase a newer version of Office. If so, what version
would you recommend?
Thanks

Apart from some minor tweaks, Office 97 runs fine on Windows XP. Make sure
you are up to date with Office and Windows service packs.

Please respond in the same thread on this newsgroup. Make sure you
include details of your application and Windows versions, plus any
service pack updates.

1.) Office 97 is compatible with Windows Xp.
2.) If you're thinking of upgrading, (97 is now 6 years old, as good as it
is,) buy Office System 2003.
