Office 97 excel

Does anybody out there know if Office 97 excel has the
capabilities to recognise Black numbers from red and can
it reset these two numbers seperatly on the same page.
even though they are in mixed order. Or is this program
not clever enough? I am a granny user and have a listing
of my family tree that I want my computer to do in this way

Hi, Jackie,

The program isn't natively clever enough to sort by color unless you have
someone who can do the programming. It can sort by alphanumeric only.

However, you could easily put in a new column that has "R" or "B", then sort
all entries by that column. That would group all Rs together and all Bs
together. You'd need to populate the column yourself, but it might be an
option for you.
