Office 97 on Windows XP

Help! I have an upgrade package of Office 97 Pro. and a
new Laptop with Windows XP. I didn't get a new Office
Package because all of my work is in Office 97 Pro. I
don't have any old programs. How do I get Office 97
installed?

Hi Ronald, XP has the capacity to install under

another system...look for an option to install as Win 98,
if that's what you had before...the 97 may work then.

When you get stuck , click on the HELP in XP and type
your question...has excellent stuff

Your fundamental problem is using the Upgrade version of
Office to install to a new computer which has no prior
Office component. You need to have a floppy or CD with a
prior version of Excel, Word, Office, or any of the other
suite.
