i am installing this on my pc and when i try to open access i get an error
message that "i do not have a license for this machine"... during the
install, i was never asked for the cd key or anything! i bought this from a
store in nj and now live in fl - HELP!! i need the access program for a
project thanks ~ cindy

Hi Cindy,

I'm a little surprised to hear you did not have to enter your Product Key
at all during install, but the problem may actually be something else.

Fairly common bug caused by a font of all things.

There is a free download to fix the problem but it only works on Windows 98 I believe.

BEND OREGON!! E-GADS!! i have been there for a family reunion a few years ago.
Katherryn & Lorance Evers were my aunt & uncle (deceased now) and a cousin
in Redmond - what a beautiful place - would love to live there!!! It's 2:30am
and i am exhausted - i'll try the font name change tomorrow night - company
tomorrow - and i'll let you know if that works for me... thank you ~ cindy

It is beautiful country around here and growing like crazy!
Bend is one of the fastest growing areas not only in Oregon, but the country as well.

what an odd bug that was... a FONT - of all things!
access is up and running now... no error messages at all.
