Office 97 SB upgrade to Office xp Pro

The Office XP box says it will upgrade office 97 Small
Business edition but when I try to install it, it says
that it can find no product to upgrade. The Office 97
was a VAR version that came with the PC. Anyone have any
ideas?

Do you still have the CD for Office 97? Can you put it in the Drive when
Office asks to verify your upgrade eligibility?

Yes, I still have the CD, the new ver does not ask for
the CD to verify, just ends the upgrade process. Is
there a way to initiate this manually? Thanks for the
reply.
