Office 97 Shortcut Bar

Hi all! I have a machine running Win98 with Office 97 Pro
installed on it. The user frequently uses the Office
Shortcut Bar. It is set to always be on top of other apps
that may be open, however sometimes it will not do so.
When she opens an app (rarely uses anything other than
office or IE) it will be behind the app and she will have
to minimize the window to get to it.

I can find no consistency with the apps that go in front
of the shortcut bar. I haven't reinstalled yet, want to
know if there is any fix for this. Any help would be
greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot!

I have had this same problem using Win Me and Win XP -- I don't remember
having it with Win 98, but maybe I did...
I accidently found out that I need to "activate" each open window in order
for the Shortcut bar to stay on top. Of course, the clue to which one is
not *touched* or active is the one lurking behind the bar. Usually all it
takes is to "address" that window by opening it.
