Office 97 to WIndows XP or Vista

Hi, I have a complex program written several years ago in Office 97,
specifically it works in Excel 97, but it won't run on Windows XP or Vista.
Is there a way to get it to run on XP or Vista without having to recode the
whole program?

For Office 97 to work on Windows XP, you will have to change the security
permissions on a registry key to make things (spell check/thesaurus) work

I forgot to mention, I assumed that you applied Office 97 Service Pack 2 and
swapped out Outlook 97 with Outlook 98.
