Office 97 Word Printing Problem

My home PC runs MS Office 97. I recently connected this desktop PC and a
laptop to a wireless broadband (Linksys) router. Both computers share an HP
3310 All-in-One printer. The laptop prints to the printer with no problem.
When I log on to my WindowsXP desktop on the other (tower) PC, I can print
any MS Word doc without problem. When another user on the same computer
(tower) logs on to her Windows desktop and tries to print from MS Word, no
document will print (although the other user can print from Notepad and other
applications.) Upon clicking on the printer icon at the lower right of the
screen, it immediately disappears and MS Word closes. The same thing happends
on every attempt. Any suggestions as to how I might remedy this problem would
be much appreciated.
