After waiting I finally tried Open Office and after 2 weeks I knew
nearly ALL the needed commands for it.
Plus it's free!
Don't get me wrong, I paid for and used that Office 97' too death,
through Vista but the cheapest Office 2003 or 2007, even used was WAY
TOO MUCH for me...I was thinking $40-$60 and that was not even close
even for a used copy of office.
So if you suddenly find your Microsoft application isn't supported and
an upgrade is $125+ try to look for some shareware/freeware version
and save that money for porn or donations to charity.
Again, I'm not knocking Microsoft, after all I bought Windows 7, but
Microsoft really needs to cut it's application prices, I bet they lose
tens of millions of dollars just from people not being able to afford
those prices.
I would have torrent'd a free 2003 or 2007 but doing things like that
is pretty stupid when you consider 99% of all software on torrents are
drowning in viruses.
Ok, I'm done, it's been a wild ride, thanks to those who helped me in
the past.
p.s. Is there a newsgroup for Open Office?
Well, at least they have a website with forums and faq's and help
sections...
bye
