Office 97

I'm running windows XP and when it starts the Office 97
folder appears automatically. The Office 97 program
doesn't actually start, but the programs file appears as
if I have went program files/microsoft office.

How do I keep this file view keep from opening everytime
I start windows?

Hi Scott,


You might want to check the startup folder (start --> All
Programs --> Startu) and see if that folder is listed
there as a shortcut. If it is remove it (either click and
drag to the desktop or just delete it). Give it a try,
other than that, you might want to reinstall Office.

I've checked the startup folder and it doesn't show
there. I guess I'll have to reinstall the program if no
one else has any ideas on how to fix this ;(
