Office 97

Does Microsoft still offer support for Office 97? And is
it legal to install one copy of Office 97 on multiple
computers, or would one still need to obtain additional
licenses?

Office 97 is no longer supported IIRC. As far as licensing is concerned,
end of support does not void the license. It is still one desktop and one
portable, used by the same person but not simultaneously.
