Hi,
I cant find a Discussion Group for Office Accounting 2008 so I have posted
this as a general question.
I seems to me the cash flow tool in Office Accounting is a bit of a toy (all
be it better than Quicken). It really needs is to be better integrated into
the overall package to simplify the forcasting process and make it more
useful.
examples...
- Quotes could have an option to include them in the Cashflow forcast.
- The venders section could have the ability to create estimates that can
later be made into purchase orders or directly to invoices.
- Reports could list info like how accurate our estimates were and stuff
like that to make forcasting more of a science.
Accounting is a complex and tedious task, lets make it possible to do
forcasting without the need to re-enter everything twice.
Oh and there is a bug in the forcasting tool, if you add a quote to the
Sales Forcast then go back and change the date the graph doesn't refresh. It
will refresh if you change the $value.
