I'm a home-user living in Australia, where I've been using the Australian
version of Quicken Personal Lite for several years to keep accounts of my
tax deductible items, and to keep my own register of the bank account owned
by an estate for which I was responsible. Personal Lite has been very
useful, but it needs to be upgraded every year or two, for a fee, and it has
some quirky aspects regarding installation, re-installation, and getting
support by telephone is very expensive.
I've seen today for the first time Office Accounting Express 2008, and have
downloaded it from the British site. Will this do the things I 've been
using Quicken Personal Lite to do, which is simply keep a bank account, and
allow it to be printed either in chronological format or category format to
a PDF file, which I send to my tax accountant?
