Greetings,
I recently had to replace my hard drive. After cloning it with new
drive-supplied software utility (Western Digital), everything worked
fine, except all the Mircosoft Office (2000) apps (Word, Excel, Power
Point, Access) and MSN Messenger had generic windows icons (looks like
an application window, with three little white dots in the upper right
corner), in all locations- desktop shortcuts, start menu, \programs\
folders, quickstart bar, everywhere. OS is XP Home, SP2
Tried changing desktop color depth and resolution, icon size, deleted
and rebuilt the iconcache.db file. ANybody have a solution short of
reinstalling all th e apps?
