Office Applications Become Non Responsive when File > Save is sele

For all of my office applications, when I select File > Save and try to
navigate to a folder the program becomes nonresponsive for several minutes.
This problem occurs for each level of folder selected. It does matter if the
selected folder is on the local system or network. My non Office applications
do not have this issue.

Hi, Wayne,

Did this just start happening? What version of Office? What operating
system? Have you tried to repair the installation?

Is your system mapping drives that are Unavailable? Open My Computer and
see. For any "disconnected" or "unavailable" drive, r-click on it and
select "Disconnect". Then open you office application and try your "Save
As" routine.
