Office Applications hangs

Hi,

I have got the following Problem:

Whenever I try to save a document with "save as..." and
click the black triangle on top of the "save as..."
window, the application does not respond for acouple of
minutes.
If I go one step back (the green arrow symbol) I am able to
select the directory to save to.

Does anybody know the reason for that behaviour?

Many times this problem is caused by the system waiting for a
disconnected or non-existant share to respond. Check your mapping.
