I am using Windows XP with Microsoft Office 2000 premium.
When running the office applications (Word, Excel etc) I
get the error message "Microsoft word for windows has
encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry
for the inconvience" I get a choice of whether to send it
to microsoft or not.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Microsoft
Office 2000 Premium with no success.
I tried installing Office XP and I get a similar message
after word, excel, etc comes up.
Somehow I think there is a file that is corrupt and not
getting uninstalled. Shoule maybe a directory be manually
deleted before making an installation???
By the way the installation was ok for several weeks
before this happemed.
I would appreciate any help.
