Hello!
I have a fresh install of Office 2008 that I received from our I.T. department, on a MacBook running Snow Leopard. Everything seems to install OK but when I try to launch any Office application, it instead launches the Startup Assistant. Clicking the "Finish" button in turn launches the Updater.
I've installed all updates, at 12.2.0, and the Updater says no updates are available. At that point, the only option is to Quit out of Updater.
I never get to run the actual Office applications!
Is this a Preferences problem? I've tried on a clean install, new user account... Any ideas? Thanks!
