Office Apps say Activation is needed, Help/Activate doesn't

I'm running Word 2000 SP3 and other Office XP Pro version 2002 products. They
have been installed and running on my computer since 2006. Within the past
couple of months they (Word and Excel that I use often) have been sometimes
asking for activation. When I go to Help/Activate Product I get the message
"This product has already been activated". I did download and run the
activation program but that didn't help.

I can keep clicking on "later" but I would rather get rid of the message.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
