There was another thread regarding a problem that sounds identical this that
was affecting Vista SP1
(http://social.technet.microsoft.com...ead/164871b2-46b3-4866-830f-9bf392dc5ad1/)and
this KB was released: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/952709
We are seeing this same problem running a TS farm with 3 Server 2008
Enterprise boxes. 1 in particular has the issue more frequently, I have seen
it for Outlook, Access and Powerpoint. Suddenly, an office app will stop
working giving "is not a valid win32 application" error when trying to
start it, while all others continue to work. A reboot resolves the issue, but
with 20 + people using the server it is a pain to have to reboot it. I have
installed all 'Reliability and compatibility' updates for Windows Server 2008
available in Windows Updates. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
