Looking for a solution for a Terminal Server configuration and MS Office 2003.
We have a third party program that uses Word Integration and requires the
use of the Office Assistant to work. However since we upgraded from Word 2000
to Word 2003, the Assistant slows the integration down significantly.
Our work around is to click on the Assistant image once it appears, and then
the integration continues.
I beleive this is an issue related to the use of Terminal Server 2003,
Office 2003, and the assistants annimation. We have implemented Group policy
to turn off the annimation, but the issues continues.
Please help if you have seen this and know how to correct this in a Terminal
Server environment.
