office assistant in Word XP

I can not change my office assistant because I get an error reading theres
not enough memory, I have a brand new computer! HELP!! My operating system is
Vista!

BillF43--thanks a bunch. This is just what I needed. We bought a new
computer, loaded office 2000 on it, couldn't change the assistant, then
bought a student copy of office 2003, and STILL couldn't change it. I would
never have found this on my own. Thanks for saving my life (my daughter and
wife were both mad at me that I couldn't FIX IT!)
