office assistant won't work

After selecting a topic in office assistant I receive the message "Internet
Explorer was unable to link to the Web page you requested. The page might be
temporarily unavailable".
I only want help offline within the program as I always have been able to do.

I receive the same message with some other programs.

See if emptying your temp cache helps, in Internet Explorer, tools, Internet
Options, delete files.
