Office Assistant

When I bring up MS Word, Excel, etc in MS Office 2000, it says that I need
to install Office Assistant. When I insert Disk 1 of MS Office 2000 and
click Repair, it goes through the procedure, but at the end after rebooting,
Office Assistant will not come up. What do you suggest?

You need to install them, not repair Office. Using Add/Remove, select to
add components, and select the Office Assistants in the Office Tools option.
