How do you turn on/off the office assistant from
AUTOMATICALLY starting when opening up an office app?
When I start any office app, the assistant is not
started. I can turn it on and it stays running until I
exit the app, which is expected behavior. But when I
start the app again, I would expect the assistant to
return, but it does not. Something must be inhibiting it
from starting automatically.
Any ideas?

I don't know what version you're running but in Office
2000, open the office assistant as you described. Right
click on the animation a choose options. A window will
open where you can insert a check to use the office
assistant or uncheck not to use it.
