Office Assistants

I know the Office Assistants have been removed from the newest version of
Office (the one that hasn't been released yet). Am I correct that they're
still in Office 2003 and that they're the same ones that are in Office XP?

They are still in XP and 2003 - as I have customized my Agents and do not
use the default ones, I don't know if they are all exactly the same or not
but I believe so.

Download MSAgent technology, then go to the MS Agent Ring. There art oodles of Office characters you can use rather than the default ones. I use a character named Flix - a little piece of film that eats popcorn while idle, does various annoyingly cute things when being used. Oh, and the Reaper is also good for some grim humor.
