Office authorization problem

It seems as if a user (Windows XP Pro) suddenly started
failing to verify her Office XP applications against our
(Small Business) server, primarily resulting in her not
being able to connect to her Exchange mailbox. When she
opens Outlook, she's asked to enter her user name,
password and domain, since she was refused access with
the ordinary Active Directory account she use to log in
to the domain (which is located on the same machine as
Exchange).

The following event appears in the activity log (roughly
translated):
Type: Warning
Source: WinMgmt
Category: None
Event ID: 63
User: NT INSTANS\SYSTEM
Description:
A provider, OffProv10, has been registered in the WMI
name area Root\MSAPPS10 to use the local system account.
This account has privileges and the provider can therefor
cause a security breach if it doesn't personify the user
requests correctly.
....

The Office installation has worked perfectly for over a
year, so something must've changed. However, the user
claims that nothing were installed or reconfigured - as
far as she knew - around the time when the problem first
appeared. (Reinstalling Office doesn't help. Nor does
making Windows change back to its original configuration.)

The problem must be local, since I've succesfully tried
to open her mailbox from another computer.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
