Office Bar icons do not "read"

I installed Ofc 97 Pro on my XP machine, but the Office Bar icons do not
"read" (it does not say "Word97" or "Excel97") when the cursor is placed
over them. How do I make them do that?

Right-click the little Office logo on the left end of the OSB and in the
dialogue box that comes up put a check in the box next to "show screen tips"
