Here we go, or I go.
I am currently running MS Office Basic, IE, no MS Access. No biggie, I
rarely need to use Access, until now.
I have installed a program called GAGEtrak version 5, which not only uses
but installs MS Access. When this was first installed on a general "user"
login it worked great. Now that I have migrated over to a specific user
login I can not run the program, even after an uninstall/re-install of
GAGEtrak software.
I get the following error:
"This application must be installed to run. Please run setup from the
location where you originally installed the application."
There is no "setup" to install Access; it is completed by the GAGEtrak
install. (I have run thru 3 uninstall/re-installs so far today!)
Any Access database files are recognized as such (correct icon etc.) but
trying to run one or open one via GAGEtrak, well, it’s just not happening!
I have no idea where to go from here.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated!!!
